Android 10 or higher-powered gadgets can enable 5G non-standalone (NSA). A solution for 5G networks that are supported by the current 4G infrastructure is 5G NSA. When a device connects to a 5G network on Android 10, a 5G icon can be seen in the status bar.
Frequency ranges from 24.25 GHz to 52.6 GHz are included in Frequency Range 2 (FR2). Compared to bands in the FR1, these millimeter wave bands have a smaller range but a larger usable bandwidth.
While in NSA mode the 5G network is created on top of an existing layer of the 4G network, in SA mode the network is developed exclusively on 5G. Jio has stated that its 5G network would launch in SA mode, however Airtel and Vodafone Idea will use NSA mode.

In contrast to LTE, NR relies on user-specific demodulation reference signals for channel estimation, supporting beamforming and multi-antenna transmission. Cell-specific reference signals are not included in NR.
The most widely used and tested 5G frequency worldwide is n78 (3500 MHz), often known as the 3.5 GHz 5G band or C-band 5G. The popularity of the n78 band is a result of its widespread availability when compared to lower cellular spectrum (below 2700MHz), which is already heavily utilized by 3G and 4G networks.
The earth is a "perfect ground," therefore the frequencies utilized in 5G today essentially do not penetrate it any deeper than 2G, 3G, or 4G. Therefore, you won't experience any new problems with 5G if you have a phone that uses an older generation of cellular technology.

The 5G NR Test UE for FR1 Bundle simulates 5G user equipment (UE) and offers real-time performance data when connected to a gNodeB. It is fully 3GPP Release 15 compatible. It can test components, subsystems, and/or whole base station equipment at each 5G band thanks to its 100 MHz of bandwidth and 4x4 MIMO technology.
That level of internet technology, whether it be 5G or 7G, is still relatively uncommon in the majority of the world. At the moment, we can see that only Norway offers its citizens speeds of 7G or even 8G. (keep in mind that we are talking about 11 Gigabits per second here).
